This product is a film-coated tablet, which appears yellow-brown after removing the coating; it tastes bitter.

Oral administration. 1 tablet at a time, 3 times a day or as directed by your doctor.

Most of the adverse reactions of Zhenju Antihypertensive Tablets are related to the dose and course of treatment. The main contents are as follows: 1. Water and electrolyte disorders: Side effects caused by water and electrolyte disorders are relatively common, manifested as dry mouth, thirst, muscle cramps, nausea, vomiting and extreme fatigue and weakness. Including: prone to hypokalemia (related to the potassium excretion effect of hydrochlorothiazide). For example, long-term potassium deficiency can damage the renal tubules. Severe potassium loss can cause vacuolar changes in the renal tubular epithelium and severe rapid arrhythmias. Hypochloremic alkalosis or hypochloremic and hypokalemic alkalosis (because hydrochlorothiazide can increase the excretion of chloride). Hyponatremia can cause central nervous system symptoms and aggravate renal damage. Dehydration can cause a decrease in blood volume and renal blood flow, and can also cause a decrease in glomerular overload. 2. It can interfere with the excretion of uric acid by the renal tubules, causing hyperuricemia; a few can induce gout attacks. 3. It can reduce glucose tolerance and increase blood sugar, which may be related to the inhibition of insulin release. 4. It can increase low-density lipoprotein and triglyceride, and decrease high-density lipoprotein, which may promote atherosclerosis. 5. It can cause allergic reactions, such as urticaria, but it is relatively rare. 6. Rarely, leukopenia or deficiency, thrombocytopenic purpura, etc. 7. Others, such as cholecystitis, pancreatitis, sexual dysfunction, photosensitivity, color vision disorders, etc., can be seen, but they are relatively rare.

Adrenocortical hormone, adrenocorticotropic hormone, estrogen, and amphotericin B (intravenous administration) can reduce the diuretic effect of this drug and increase the chance of electrolyte imbalance, especially hypokalemia. 2. When used in combination with antihypertensive drugs, the diuretic and antihypertensive effects are enhanced. 3. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics, especially indomethacin, can reduce the diuretic effect of hydrochlorothiazide, which is related to the former's inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. 4. Cholestyramine (cholestyramine) can reduce the gastrointestinal absorption of hydrochlorothiazide, so this drug should be taken 1 hour before or 4 hours after oral cholestyramine. 5. When used in combination with dopamine, the diuretic effect is enhanced. 6. When used in combination with sympathomimetic drugs, the diuretic effect is weakened. 7. When methenamine is used in combination with hydrochlorothiazide, its conversion to formaldehyde is inhibited, and the efficacy is reduced. 8. It weakens the effect of anticoagulants, mainly because the plasma volume of the body decreases after diuresis, the level of coagulation factors in the blood increases, and diuresis improves the blood supply to the liver and increases the synthesis of coagulation factors. 9. When used in combination with sodium bicarbonate, the chance of hypochloremic alkalosis increases. 10. When digitalis drugs, amiodarone, etc. are used in combination with hydrochlorothiazide, side effects caused by hypokalemia should be carefully prevented. 11. When used in combination with lithium preparations, hydrochlorothiazide can reduce the kidney's clearance of lithium and increase lithium's nephrotoxicity. 12. When used in combination with anti-gout drugs, the latter should adjust the dose. 13. It enhances the effect of non-depolarizing muscle relaxants, which is related to the decrease in blood potassium. 14. It reduces the effect of hypoglycemic drugs.
