Appearance
The main ingredient of this drug is buspirone hydrochloride, whose chemical name is 8-azaspiro[4,5]decane-7,9-dione, 8-{4-[4-(2-pyrimidinyl)-1-piperazinyl]}butyl-hydrochloride. The molecular formula is C21H31N5O2·HCl, and the molecular weight is 421.97. This drug is a white tablet.
Indication
Various anxiety disorders.
Usage and Dosage
Start with 5 mg orally, 2 to 3 times a day. In the second week, it can be increased to 10 mg, 2 to 3 times a day. The commonly used therapeutic dose is 20 mg to 40 mg a day.
Adverse Reactions
There are dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting and gastrointestinal dysfunction.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients with glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, leukocytopenia or allergy to this product.

Precautions for children: Do not use. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Do not use. Precautions for the elderly: Reduce the dosage.
Drug Interactions
The combined use of this product with monoamine oxidase inhibitors may increase blood pressure.
