Function and Efficacy
This product has strong antibacterial activity against various Gram-positive cocci related to skin infections, and is also effective against drug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. It has a certain antibacterial effect on some Gram-negative bacteria. There is no cross-resistance with other antibiotics.
Ingredients
This product contains 20 mg of the main ingredient mupirocin per gram. The excipients are polyethylene glycol 400 and polyethylene glycol 3350.

Appearance
This product is an off-white hydrophilic ointment.
Indication
This product is a topical antibiotic suitable for skin infections caused by Gram-positive cocci, such as primary skin infections such as impetigo, folliculitis, furuncle, and secondary skin infections such as eczema combined infection, ulcer combined infection, and trauma combined infection.
Usage and Dosage
This product should be used externally and applied topically to the affected area. If necessary, the affected area can be bandaged or covered with a dressing, 3 times a day, one course of treatment is 5 days, and the course of treatment can be repeated if necessary.
Adverse Reactions
There are generally no adverse reactions to topical application of this product, but local burning, stinging and itching may occur occasionally. Generally, there is no need to stop the drug. Occasionally, skin allergic reactions to mupirocin or its ointment base may occur. There have been reports showing that mupirocin ointment causes systemic allergic reactions, but they are very rare.
Precautions
It is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to mupirocin or other ointments containing polyethylene glycol.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Children must use under adult supervision. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Although experiments have shown that this product is not teratogenic, pregnant women should use it with caution. When applying the drug during lactation, prevent the drug from entering the baby's eyes. Precautions for the elderly: Not yet clear.
