Function and Efficacy

This product is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic. It can block the parasite's uptake of multiple nutrients and glucose, leading to the depletion of glycogen in the parasite, making it impossible for the parasite to survive and reproduce.

Ingredients

Each tablet of this product contains 0.2g of albendazole, the main ingredient, and the auxiliary materials are lactose, starch, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, sodium carboxymethyl starch, sodium saccharin, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate, and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.

Appearance

This product is an off-white film-coated tablet, which appears white or off-white after removing the coating.

Indication

This product is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic. In addition to being used to treat nematode diseases such as hookworms, roundworms, whipworms, pinworms, and caterpillars, it can also be used to treat cysticercosis and echinococcosis.

Usage and Dosage

Oral administration. 4 tablets for children over 2 years old and adults, 2 tablets for children over 2 years old with simple pinworm or simple mild ascariasis, all taken at once.

Adverse Reactions

1. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dry mouth, fatigue, fever, rash or headache may occur, which may disappear on their own after stopping the drug. 2. When treating ascariasis, vomiting of ascaris may occasionally occur.

Precautions

1. Pregnant women, lactating women and children under 2 years old are prohibited from using this product. 2. Patients with severe liver, kidney and heart dysfunction and active ulcer disease are prohibited from using this product.

Special Population Medication

Precautions for children: Not suitable for children under two years old. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant and lactating women are prohibited to use. Precautions for the elderly:

Drug Interactions

1. This tablet should not be used with cimetidine, dexamethasone, ritonavir, phenytoin, carbamazepine, or phenobarbital. 2. If used with other drugs, drug interactions may occur. Please consult your physician or pharmacist for details.
