Function and Efficacy
Ketoconazole is an antifungal drug that has inhibitory effects on dermatophytes such as Trichophyton, Epidermophyton, Microsporum, and yeasts such as Candida. It is hardly absorbed through the skin when applied topically.
Ingredients
This product contains ketoconazole as the main ingredient and stearic acid, white vaseline, glyceryl monostearate and preservative (ethyl hydroxybenzoate) as the auxiliary ingredients.

Appearance
This product is a milky white or slightly reddish ointment with an emulsion base.
Indication
For tinea manuum, tinea pedis, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea versicolor and candidiasis of the skin
Usage and Dosage
For topical use, apply an appropriate amount of this product to the affected area, 2 to 3 times a day. To reduce recurrence, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea versicolor and skin candidiasis should be used continuously for 2 to 4 weeks, and tinea manuum and pedis should be used continuously for 4 to 6 weeks.
Adverse Reactions
Visible stinging or other irritation symptoms, occasionally itching and other allergic reactions
Precautions
1. Common symptoms include erythema, burning, itching, tingling or other irritation, folliculitis, skin atrophy and thinning, capillary dilation, etc. 2. Dry skin, hirsutism, stretch marks, increased susceptibility to infection, etc. 3. Long-term use may cause hypercorticism, manifested as hirsutism, acne, moon face, osteoporosis, etc. 4. Occasionally may cause allergic contact dermatitis.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Children must use under adult supervision. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant and lactating women should use with caution. Precautions for the elderly: Not yet clear.
