Rhubarb can stimulate taste receptors and gastric mucosa, reflexively excite the hypothalamic food center, cause hypersecretion of saliva and gastric juice, increase appetite, cause mild gastrointestinal congestion, and enhance absorption function. Sodium bicarbonate is an antacid that can neutralize excessive gastric acid secretion. The combination of the two can have a stomachic and acid-reducing effect.

This product is a compound preparation, each tablet contains 0.15 grams of rhubarb and 0.15 grams of sodium bicarbonate.

Used for indigestion, loss of appetite and acid reflux, etc.

Oral administration, 1-3 tablets at a time, 3 times a day.

Mild nausea may occur occasionally.

Contraindicated in patients with ulcers that may perforate.

1. It is not suitable to be used in combination with vitamin C, pepsin mixture and other drugs, because the efficacy of each drug may be reduced. 2. When used in combination with aminoglycosides, the urine pH may increase and the efficacy of the drug may be enhanced. 3. When used in combination with antimuscarinic drugs, the absorption of the latter is reduced and the efficacy is weakened. 4. When used in combination with quinidine, the excretion of the latter in the urine is inhibited, and a small amount may cause toxic reactions. 5. When used in combination with diuretics, there is a risk of hypochloride alkalosis. 6. When used with iron preparations, the two drugs should be taken as far as possible, otherwise it will affect the absorption of iron. 7. When used in combination with salicylic acid preparations, urine alkalinization can lead to an increase in the excretion of salicylic acid through the kidneys, thereby reducing the serum salicylic acid concentration. 8. When used in combination with oral tetracycline, the pH of gastric juice may increase, resulting in reduced absorption of tetracycline, so simultaneous use should be avoided. 9. This product cannot be taken at the same time as enteric-coated tablets.
