Sulfamethoxazole is a sulfonamide drug that is still widely used. It has a strong antibacterial effect and is excreted slowly. Its half-life is 11 hours, so it needs to be taken twice a day. When used in combination with trimethoprim, its antibacterial effect is significantly increased, which expands the scope of clinical application and reduces toxicity. It is used to treat respiratory tract infections and lung infections. It has the antibacterial effect of compound sulfamethoxazole. Pentotheline citrate is a non-addictive cough suppressant widely used in China. Bromhexine hydrochloride is clinically used to treat various diseases such as bronchitis, emphysema, silicosis, chronic lung inflammation, etc. The above four ingredients work synergistically, so that this product can achieve the therapeutic effects of antitussive, expectorant, and anti-inflammatory.

Each tablet contains 200 mg of sulfamethoxazole, 40 mg of trimethoprim, 6.25 mg of pentoxyverine citrate, and 4 mg of bromhexine hydrochloride.
