Bromoprocaine Injection

This product has a sedative and hypnotic effect. Procaine hydrochloride inhibits the central nervous system in normal doses and causes excessive excitement. It inhibits the release of acetylcholine from the presynaptic membrane, produces a certain degree of muscle blockade, can enhance the effect of non-depolarizing muscle relaxants, and directly inhibits smooth muscles, which can relieve smooth muscle spasms.

This product is a compound preparation, each containing 2 mg of bromamine, 3 mg of procaine hydrochloride, and 6 mg of phenol. Excipients: phenol, propylene glycol, disodium edetate, sodium metabisulfite, and water for injection.

This product is a colorless clear liquid.

It is used for nervous vomiting and vomiting during pregnancy, and also for vomiting due to motion sickness, stomach cramps, etc.

Subcutaneous or intramuscular injection. 2 ml each time. For stubborn vomiting, the number of injections can be increased appropriately.

1. There may be methemoglobinemia causing hypoxia. 2. Gastrointestinal system: Occasionally may cause nausea, vomiting, sweating and diarrhea. 3. There may be a brief excitement, followed by loss of consciousness and central nervous system depression.

Patients with a history of allergy to bromide, procaine hydrochloride, and phenol are contraindicated.

Precautions for children: Children have greater toxicity than adults, so use with caution. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Use with caution for pregnant and lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: Use with caution for elderly patients.

This product must not be mixed with alkaline drugs.
