Function and Efficacy
1 Effect on digestive tract motility: 1) Gastric motility regulation effect Adding 10-5g/ml of this drug to the isolated guinea pig gastric vestibule circular muscle specimen can reduce the amplitude of its autonomic movement. In addition: it can also increase the frequency and amplitude of irregular weak movements of the same specimen at 28°C, making it tend to regular rhythmic contraction. When 3mg/kg of this drug is intravenously injected into anesthetized dogs with cut thoracic vagus nerves, the irregular movement of the stomach can be regularized. For the gastric pyloric movement of patients with digestive system diseases, intravenous injection of 1mg/kg was found to inhibit the movement of hyperkinetic muscle groups, and at the same time, it was also found to enhance the movement of hypokinetic muscle groups. 2) Effect on the induction of propulsive movement of the digestive system After 4-6mg/kg of the drug was administered in the human jejunum, it was found that it could induce physiological propulsive movement of the digestive tract in the adult digestive system. 3) Improvement of gastric emptying function. Indication
1. Improvement of symptoms such as loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, belching, abdominal distension, borborygmus, abdominal pain, diarrhea and constipation caused by gastrointestinal motility disorders. 2. Irritable bowel syndrome.
Usage and Dosage
For adults, take orally, 0.1-0.2 g each time, 3 times a day. The dosage can be appropriately increased or decreased according to age and symptoms, or as directed by a doctor.
Adverse Reactions
Occasionally, there may be thirst, numbness in the mouth, abdominal borborygmi, abdominal distension, constipation, tachycardia, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, rash, increased aspartate aminotransferase (GOT) and alanine aminotransferase (GPT), etc., with an incidence of about 0.4%.
