Appearance
This product is a white to off-white crystalline powder, slightly soluble in methanol, slightly soluble in chloroform, dichloromethane, acetone, ethanol, very slightly soluble in ethyl acetate, and almost insoluble in water. The melting point is about 159° (decomposition).
Indication
2% Butoconazole nitrate cream is mainly used for vulvovaginal candidiasis caused by Candida albicans. The diagnosis of this disease should be confirmed by KOH smear microscopy. This drug is safe and effective for non-pregnant women, but its safety and effectiveness for pregnant women have not yet been determined.
Usage and Dosage
Wash your hands before going to bed, clean the vulva, then slowly insert the applicator deep into the vagina, and then squeeze the cream deep into the vagina. Use once a day, 1 tube each time, for 3 consecutive days. Even if the symptoms disappear quickly, the treatment course should be completed.
