Salbutamol Sulfate Extended Release Capsules

It is a selective α2-adrenaline receptor agonist. It can selectively act on the α2-adrenaline receptors of bronchial smooth muscle and has a strong bronchial dilation effect. At the dose for treating asthma, the stimulating effect on the heart is weak.

The main ingredient of this product is salbutamol sulfate. Its chemical name is 1-(4-hydroxy-3-hydroxymethylphenyl)-2-(tert-butylamino)ethanol sulfate. Molecular formula: (C13H21NO3)2?H2SO4 Molecular weight: 576.71

This product is in the form of capsules.

Used to treat respiratory diseases accompanied by bronchospasm such as bronchial asthma or asthmatic bronchitis.

Oral, Adults: The recommended dose is 8 mg once, twice a day.

1. Common adverse reactions include: tremor, nausea, palpitations, headache, insomnia. 2. Less common adverse reactions include: dizziness, vertigo, dry mouth and throat.

Patients who are allergic to this product or other adrenergic receptor agonists are contraindicated.

1. When used simultaneously with other adrenergic receptor agonists, the effect is increased, but the adverse reactions are also increased. 2. Avoid using it simultaneously with monoamine oxidase inhibitors and tricyclic antidepressants.
