Methysten-pseudoephedrine oral solution

Dextromethorphan hydrobromide is a centrally acting antitussive that can directly act on the cough center in the medulla oblongata to suppress the cough reflex, but it is non-addictive; pseudoephedrine hydrochloride is a decongestant that can eliminate congestion in the nasal and pharyngeal mucosa and relieve nasal congestion symptoms; chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine that competitively blocks histamine H1 receptors.

This product is mainly composed of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, dextromethorphan chlorbromide and chlorpheniramine maleate.

This product is a red clear viscous liquid with a fragrant smell and sweet taste.

Suitable for nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing and coughing caused by colds and allergies.

Oral administration, 3 to 4 times a day. Adults: 10 ml each time. Children's dosage is shown in the following table: Under 5 years old, follow doctor's advice; 5-7 years old, 2.5ml-3.5ml each time; 7-10 years old, 3.5ml-5ml each time; 11-15 years old, 5ml-6ml each time. Note: Please measure according to the scale of the measuring cup.

A small number of patients may experience drowsiness, dizziness, palpitations, excitement, occasional insomnia, nausea, etc. Most patients can tolerate it or the symptoms disappear on their own after continuing to take the medicine. Some patients need to reduce the dosage.

It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to the ingredients of this product.

Precautions during pregnancy and lactation: Do not use during the first 3 months of pregnancy.
