Function and Efficacy
According to foreign literature reports: Pharmacological action: Acting on liver cells, it has the effect of promoting RNA synthesis and increasing ribosome activity, and plays a role in improving protein metabolism, which can improve liver function and inhibit the process of liver fibrosis. Toxicological action: Rats took 100-300 mg/kg orally for 52 weeks, which can cause erythropenia and increased liver weight; dogs took 100-500 mg/kg orally for 52 weeks, which can cause vomiting, increased liver weight, and iron-containing hemoglobin deposition in the spleen. Rats were given 320 mg/kg of malotiate orally, and before pregnancy and early pregnancy, maternal weight gain was inhibited and fetal ossification was slightly delayed; during the perinatal period and lactation period, maternal and neonatal weight gain was inhibited. No abnormalities were found in antigenicity tests, mutagenicity tests, and general pharmacology tests.

Appearance
This product is light yellow tablet.
Indication
It is suitable for chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver damage caused by advanced schistosomiasis and hypoproteinemia complicated by pulmonary tuberculosis.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration. 2 tablets twice a day.
Adverse Reactions
Digestive tract: sometimes it may cause loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, abdominal distension, diarrhea, thirst, etc., and occasionally constipation. Liver: sometimes it may cause jaundice, increased GOT, GPT, etc. after taking the medicine. Therefore, if the above symptoms appear after administration, the medicine should be stopped immediately and appropriate treatment should be taken. Allergy: sometimes it may cause rash, itching, etc. Nervous system: sometimes it may cause drowsiness, headache, occasional dizziness, cramps, etc. Blood system: sometimes it may cause leukopenia, erythropenia, increase in eosinophils, and occasionally thrombocytopenia.
