Function and Efficacy
This product has high antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus (including penicillin-resistant strains) and Streptococcus. It also has good antibacterial activity against Gram-negative bacteria. This product is an antibacterial drug. At high concentrations, it also has a bactericidal effect on highly sensitive bacteria. The mechanism of action is to bind to the 50S subunit of the ribosome of sensitive bacteria, prevent the extension of the peptide chain, and thus inhibit the protein synthesis of bacterial cells. This product has no cross-resistance with chloramphenicol and tetracyclines, has partial cross-resistance with macrolides, and has complete cross-resistance with clindamycin.

Appearance
This product is a colorless clear liquid.
Indication
Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, used for conjunctivitis, keratitis, etc.
Usage and Dosage
Intramuscular injection: 0.6-1.2g per day for adults, 10-20mg/kg per day for children, divided into several injections. Intravenous drip: Generally, 0.6g per time for adults, once every 8 hours or 12 hours, each 0.6g is dissolved in 100-200ml of infusion solution, drip for 1-2 hours. For children, 10-20mg/kg per day is based on body weight. It should be noted that each 0.6g is dissolved in no less than 100ml of solution for intravenous drip, and the drip time is no less than 1 hour. It is not necessary for infants under 4 weeks old
Adverse Reactions
Occasionally, allergic reactions such as rash and itching may occur; excessive use and absorption can cause neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, Candida infection, etc., as well as side effects such as tinnitus and dizziness.
Precautions
1. Those who are allergic to this product are prohibited from using it. 2. Infants under one month old are prohibited from using it.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Not suitable for infants under one month old. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Use with caution for pregnant and lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: Not clear yet.
Drug Interactions
Chloramphenicol or erythromycin can replace lincomycin at the target site, or inhibit the latter's binding to the bacterial ribosome 50S subunit, so this product should not be used in combination with chloramphenicol or erythromycin.
