Elemene emulsion injection
Function and Efficacy
Elemene is an effective anticancer ingredient extracted from the ginger plant Curcuma longifolia. Its main biological activity is to reduce the mitotic ability of tumor cells, induce tumor cell apoptosis, and inhibit the growth of tumor cells. Pharmacological experiments have shown that intraperitoneal injection of elemene injection has a significant inhibitory effect on the synthesis of DNA, RNA and protein in tumor cells. The drug can also directly act on the cell membrane to rupture tumor cells, change and enhance the immunogenicity of tumor cells, induce and promote the body's immune response to tumor cells. This product has less toxic and side effects and has little effect on normal cells and surrounding leukocytes. The intravenous injection LD50 is (270.07±18.93) mg/kg, and the oral LD50 is greater than 5g/kg. The commonly used dose has no teratogenic or mutagenic effects on mice.
Ingredients
The main ingredients of this product are a mixture of β-, γ-, and δ-elemene, and the auxiliary materials are soybean lecithin, cholesterol, ethanol, disodium hydrogen phosphate, and sodium dihydrogen phosphate.
