Function and Efficacy
Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride is an adrenaline mimetic that can constrict nasal mucosal blood vessels and reduce mucosal congestion and swelling; chlorpheniramine (chlorpheniramine) is an antihistamine that can competitively block histamine (HI) receptors and reduce nasal mucosal congestion and swelling. The two drugs have a synergistic effect.
Ingredients
Each tablet should contain 54.0-66.0 mg of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (C10H15NOHCL) and 3.6-4.4 mg of chlorpheniramine maleate (C16H19CLN2C4H4O4). 60 g of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and 4 g of chlorpheniramine maleate. Appropriate amount of excipients to make 1000 tablets

Appearance
This product is a capsule, and the contents are off-white granules.
Indication
Used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, etc. caused by colds, hay fever, allergic rhinitis and sinusitis.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: Adults, 3 times a day, 1 tablet each time.
Adverse Reactions
The main symptoms are mild drowsiness, dry nose, palpitations, upper abdominal discomfort, etc.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to ephedrine or chlorpheniramine, or those with severe hypertension, severe heart disease, or obvious prostatic hypertrophy.
Drug Interactions
1. Ethanol and central nervous system depressants can enhance the efficacy of antihistamines; 2. This product can enhance the effects of amantadine, anticholinergics, haloperidol, phenothiazines and sympathomimetics; 3. The co-administration of quinidine and chlorpheniramine can intensify its atropine-like effect; 4. The co-administration of this product with tricyclic antidepressants can enhance the efficacy of the latter.
