| Lisinopril Dihydrate |
Lisinopril is a synthetic peptide derivative and an oral long-acting angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor. It reduces the concentration of angiotensin II (a strong vasoconstrictor) and aldosterone, leading to peripheral vasodilation and reduced vascular resistance, thereby lowering blood pressure. Research data show that the effect of long-term use of this product will not weaken, and there will be no blood pressure rebound after immediate discontinuation of the drug. In patients with congestive heart failure, lisinopril reduces the preload and afterload of the heart by dilating arteries and veins, increases cardiac output, and does not cause reflex tachycardia. This product rarely produces hypokalemia and hyperuricemia caused by thiazide drugs.
