Calcium Gluconate and Sodium Chloride Injection
Function and Efficacy
This product is a calcium supplement. Calcium can maintain the normal excitability of nerves and muscles and promote the secretion of acetylcholine by nerve endings. When serum calcium is low, the excitability of nerves and muscles may increase, resulting in convulsions. When blood calcium is too high, the excitability decreases, resulting in weakness, etc. Calcium ions can improve the permeability of cell membranes, increase the density of capillaries, reduce exudation, and have an anti-allergic effect. Calcium ions can promote the calcification of bones and teeth. There is a competitive antagonism between high concentrations of calcium ions and magnesium ions, which can be used to rescue magnesium poisoning; calcium ions can react with fluoride to form insoluble calcium fluoride, which can be used to rescue fluoride poisoning.

Appearance
This product is a colorless, transparent liquid.
Indication
1. Treatment of calcium deficiency. 2. Allergic diseases. 3. Rescue of magnesium poisoning. 4. Rescue of fluoride poisoning. 5. Application during cardiac resuscitation (such as rescue of hyperkalemia or hypocalcemia, or abnormal cardiac function caused by calcium channel blockade).
Usage and Dosage
Intravenous drip. For adults, 1g (100ml) at a time for hypocalcemia, which can be repeated when necessary; for hypermagnesemia, 1-2g at a time; for fluorosis rescue, 1g at a time, which can be repeated after 1 hour. If convulsions occur, additional intravenous injection is required.
Adverse Reactions
Intravenous injection may cause systemic fever, and too fast intravenous injection may cause arrhythmia or even cardiac arrest, vomiting, and nausea. It can cause hypercalcemia, which may manifest in the early stage as constipation, drowsiness, persistent headache, loss of appetite, metallic taste in the mouth, abnormal dry mouth, etc., and in the late stage as mental confusion, hypertension, light sensitivity of the eyes and skin, nausea, vomiting, arrhythmia, etc.
Precautions
It is prohibited to inject this product intravenously during the use of cardiac glycosides.
Drug Interactions
1. It is forbidden to be used with oxidants, citrates, soluble carbonates, phosphates and sulfates; 2. When used with thiazide diuretics, it can increase the renal reabsorption of calcium and cause hypercalcemia.
Storage
Keep in a sealed container. The validity period is tentatively set at one and a half years.
