Japanese encephalitis live attenuated vaccine

It is a live attenuated Japanese encephalitis virus with no pathogenicity. The virus will not invade the brain when injected subcutaneously. After injection, it can stimulate the body to produce humoral immunity and cellular immunity of antiviral neutralizing antibodies and hemagglutination inhibitory antibodies, thereby achieving the purpose of prevention.

This product is produced by inoculating primary hamster kidney cells with the attenuated strain of Japanese encephalitis virus SA14-14-2.

Used to prevent Japanese encephalitis.

1 Add the vaccine diluent according to the indicated amount and use after it is completely reconstituted. 2 Inject subcutaneously at the attachment of the lower edge of the deltoid muscle on the outer side of the upper arm. Children aged 38 months should be injected with 0.5 ml for the first time; and 0.5 ml each at the age of 2 and 7 years, and no more immunization will be given thereafter.

A few children may experience transient fever, which usually does not last more than 2 days and can be relieved on its own. Occasionally, scattered rashes may appear, but generally no special treatment is required. Symptomatic treatment can be used if necessary.

1. Patients with fever, acute infectious diseases, otitis media, active tuberculosis, or heart, kidney, or liver diseases. 2. Patients with weak constitution, history of allergies, or history of epilepsy. 3. Patients with congenital immunodeficiency, or those who have recently or are currently receiving immunosuppressant therapy. 4. Pregnant women. 5. Patients who are allergic to gentamicin.

Store in a dark place at 2-8°C.
