Trimebutine Maleate Capsules
Function and Efficacy
Effect on digestive tract motility: gastric motility regulation. When 3mg/kg.b is intravenously injected into anesthetized dogs with cut thoracic vagus nerves, irregular gastric motility tends to be regular. It is inhibited when the motility of the gastric pylorus is hyperactive, and its activity is enhanced when the motility is hypoactive. Inducing effect on the propulsive motility of the digestive system. It has an excitatory effect on gastric emptying disorders caused by chronic gastritis, greatly improving gastric emptying, and also has an inhibitory effect when the gastric emptying function is hyperactive. Direct effect on digestive tract smooth muscle. After the application of atropine, phentolamine, propranolol and puffer fish toxin, it can still directly act on smooth muscle. It can produce non-competitive inhibitory effect on the effect of acetylcholine on the isolated ileum of guinea pigs. Peripheral antiemetic effect: Experiments on dogs found that although its inhibitory effect on apomorphine-induced vomiting is weak, it can significantly prolong the time required to induce vomiting induced by copper sulfate after intravenous injection of 3mg/kg.b or oral administration of 6mg/kg.b.
