Indication

1. It is effective for chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and can be used for CML resistant to Myleranine; 2. It has certain effects on melanoma, renal cancer, head and neck cancer, and is effective in combination with radiotherapy for head and neck and cervical squamous cell carcinoma.

Usage and Dosage

Oral administration: CML: 20-60 mg/Kg per day, twice a week, 6 weeks as a course of treatment; head and neck cancer, cervical squamous cell carcinoma, etc.: 80 mg/Kg each time, once every three days, and must be used in combination with radiotherapy.

Adverse Reactions

1. Myelosuppression is a dose-limiting toxicity that can cause leukopenia and thrombocytopenia, which can be recovered 1 to 2 weeks after discontinuation of the drug; 2. Gastrointestinal reactions sometimes occur, and there are reports of testicular atrophy and teratogenicity; 3. Central nervous system symptoms and hair loss occur occasionally, and there are also reports of drug-induced fever caused by this drug, which may recur with repeated administration.

Precautions

It is contraindicated for use in patients with chickenpox, herpes zoster and various serious infections.

Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: This product has the potential to cause mutagenesis, teratogenesis and carcinogenesis, and is contraindicated for pregnant and lactating women. Drug Interactions

It may reduce the conversion of 5-FU into active metabolites (Fd-UMP), and the two should be used with caution; this product has an inhibitory effect on the central nervous system, so barbiturates, diazepams, anesthetics, etc. should be used with caution. This product may increase the concentration of uric acid in the patient's blood, so when used in combination with allopurinol, colchicine, probenecid, etc. to treat gout, the dosage of the above drugs must be adjusted. This product can prevent and reverse the hyperuricemia caused by allopurinol when used in combination with allopurinol, and there is no cross-resistance with alkylating agents.
