Metadoxine Tablets
Function and Efficacy
Metadoxine can improve liver damage caused by long-term drinking. Animal experiments have shown that metadoxine has an anti-lipid peroxidation effect on hepatocytes and can reduce the accumulation of fat in the hepatocytes of animals with chronic alcoholism.

Main ingredient: Metadoxine. Chemical name: Pyridoxine L-2-pyrrolidone-5-carboxylate.

Appearance
This product is white or off-white tablets.
Indication
Alcoholic liver disease.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration, 0.5g (two tablets) at a time, twice a day.
Adverse Reactions
Long-term use of this product or large doses of the drug may occasionally cause peripheral neuropathy in a few patients, which usually subsides naturally after stopping the drug. If adverse reactions not listed in the instructions occur, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients with known allergies to this product and bronchial asthma.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Not recommended for children. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Use with caution in pregnant and lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: No such experiment has been conducted and no reliable references are available.
Drug Interactions
Metadoxine may increase the decarboxylation of peripheral levodopa and reduce its efficacy.
