Trimebutine Maleate Dry Suspension
Function and Efficacy
The results of in vitro tests indicate that this product can reduce the amplitude of the autonomic movement of the circular muscles in the vestibule of guinea pigs at a concentration of 10-5g/ml, increase the frequency and amplitude of irregular weak movements, and make them tend to regular rhythmic contractions. Intravenous injection of 3mg/kg of this product in anesthetized dogs with thoracic vagus nerve cut can make the irregular movement of the stomach tend to regularize. After intravenous injection of 1mg/kg of this product in humans, it was found that it can inhibit the movement of hypermotility muscles in the pylorus of patients with digestive system diseases, and can also enhance the movement of hypomotility muscles.
