Function and Efficacy

This product is a broad-spectrum quinolone antibacterial drug. It has antibacterial effects on the following bacteria in vitro: Gram-positive bacteria: Pneumococcus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pyogenes, Enterococcus, Staphylococcus, etc. Gram-negative bacteria: Enterobacteriaceae such as Acinetobacter, Proteus, Citrobacter, Salmonella (except Salmonella typhi and paratyphoid), Serratia and Escherichia coli, etc. Other Gram-negative bacteria include Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Haemophilus influenzae, etc. Anaerobic bacteria: Streptococcus peptostreptococcus, Propionibacterium acnes, etc. This product achieves antibacterial or bactericidal effects by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase.

Appearance

This product is a film-coated tablet, which appears off-white after removing the film coating.

Indication

It is suitable for the following infections caused by sensitive bacteria: 1. Upper and lower respiratory tract infections: pharyngitis, tonsillitis, acute and chronic bronchitis, pneumonia; 2. Urogenital system infections: pyelonephritis, cystitis, prostatitis, epididymitis, urethritis, endometritis; 3. Biliary tract infections; 4. Intestinal infections: bacterial dysentery, enteritis; 5. Skin and soft tissue infections: folliculitis (including pustular acne), furuncle, carbuncle, erysipelas; 6. Eye, ear, nose, oral infections: blepharitis, tarsal adenitis, dacryocystitis, otitis externa, otitis media, sinusitis, periodontitis; 7. Others: mastitis, trauma and surgical wound infection.

Usage and Dosage

Oral administration: 0.3-0.45 g (2-3 tablets) per day for adults, divided into 2-3 doses. For patients with severe infection, 0.6 g (4 tablets) per day, divided into 2-3 doses.

Adverse Reactions

1. Allergic reactions: fever, dyspnea, edema, interstitial pneumonia, photosensitivity, rash, itchy skin, eosinophilia. 2. Digestive system reactions: nausea, vomiting, anorexia, diarrhea. 3. Headache, insomnia, fatigue, cramps, thrombocytopenia. 4. Occasionally, acute renal insufficiency, agranulocytosis, pseudomembranous colitis, hypoglycemia, and abnormal liver function may occur.

Precautions

1. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product or quinolones; 2. It is contraindicated for pregnant women, lactating women and patients under 18 years old.

Special Population Medication

Precautions for children: Fluoroquinolones can cause permanent damage to the cartilage of weight-bearing joints in dogs, leading to lameness, and can also cause arthritis in several other underage animals. They are contraindicated in patients under 18 years of age. Drug Interactions

1. It should not be taken at the same time with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics such as phenylacetic acid and fenbutic acid. If the two are taken at the same time, it may cause spasms. 2. It should not be taken at the same time with antacids or iron preparations containing calcium and magnesium. If the two are taken at the same time, the absorption of tosufloxacin tosylate dispersible tablets will be reduced. 3. The aluminum and magnesium contained in didanosine (DDI) preparations can chelate with fluoroquinolones and should not be used together.
