The analgesic effect of acetaminophen in this product may be produced by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins in the central nervous system and interrupting the impulse of pain nerve endings. The latter may be related to the inhibition of the synthesis of prostaglandins or other substances that can make pain receptors sensitive; the antipyretic effect may be caused by the peripheral vasodilation, sweating and heat dissipation produced by the hypothalamic thermoregulatory center, and may be related to the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the hypothalamus. Caffeine in small doses acts on the high center of the cerebral cortex to excite the mind and relieve fatigue. It can also cause cerebral vasoconstriction and relieve headaches caused by cerebral vasodilation. Chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine that competitively blocks histamine (H1) receptors, relieves allergic symptoms, and resists M cholinergic receptors to dry the nasal mucosa. Artificial bezoar has antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects.

This product is a compound preparation, each tablet of which contains 250 mg of acetaminophen, 15 mg of caffeine, 1 mg of chlorpheniramine maleate, and 10 mg of artificial bezoar.

This product is a capsule, and the contents are colored mixed granules.

Used for nasal congestion, headache, sore throat, fever, etc. caused by colds.

Oral administration: 1-2 capsules at a time, 3 times a day.

Isoniazid and meprobamate can enhance the efficacy of caffeine, increasing the concentration of the latter in brain tissue by 55%, while the concentration in the liver and kidneys decreases. 3. Long-term and large-scale use of this product in combination with aspirin, other salicylate preparations or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can significantly increase the risk of nephrotoxicity.
