Compound chlorprenaline and bromhexine tablets
Function and Efficacy
Chlorprenaline hydrochloride is a β2 receptor agonist, which has a significant dilating effect on the bronchi, a weak antiasthmatic effect, but significantly reduces cardiac toxicity. It is well absorbed orally, and the effective concentration in the blood can be maintained for 6 hours. Bromhexine hydrochloride has a strong effect of dissolving mucus, which can break down the polysaccharide cellulose in sputum and dilute the sputum. It inhibits the synthesis of glycoproteins by goblet cells and mucous glands, reduces sialic acid in sputum, reduces sputum viscosity, and facilitates coughing. Deschlorohydroxyzine hydrochloride has an antihistamine effect, and has antiasthmatic and sedative effects.
