Function and Efficacy
In the carbon tetrachloride model, this product can reduce the serum transaminase of animals and the hydroxyproline content in the liver, reduce the degree of liver lesions and reduce the level of DHBV-DNA in the serum of ducks infected with hepatitis B virus (HBV). In vitro experiments show that this product can inhibit the proliferation of mouse skin fibroblasts (NIH/3T3 cells) and the synthesis of extracellular matrix; it can inhibit the proliferation of rat hepatic stellate cells and the synthesis of extracellular matrix, and promote their apoptosis. In the rat liver fibrosis model induced by carbon tetrachloride, dimethylnitrosamine and galactosamine, after oral prevention and treatment with matrine, the serum transaminase, extracellular matrix (hyaluronic acid, laminin, type III collagen and type IV collagen) content of animals, as well as liver cell degeneration, necrosis, inflammatory activity and fibrosis in liver tissue were significantly improved.

Appearance
This product is a film-coated tablet, which appears white or off-white after removing the coating.
Indication
Used for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B.
Usage and Dosage
Chronic hepatitis B: Oral administration, 0.2g-0.3g (2-3 tablets) each time, three times a day, one course of treatment is three months, or as directed by a doctor.
Adverse Reactions
Patients have good tolerance to this product, and the incidence of adverse reactions is low. Common adverse reactions include nausea, vomiting, bitter taste in the mouth, loss of appetite, diarrhea, upper abdominal discomfort or pain, and fatigue. Occasionally, rash, chest tightness, and fever may occur. Symptoms generally resolve on their own.
