Description

Polyacrylamide is an important water-soluble polymer. It is easy to absorb water, and the speed of water absorption varies with the difference of the ionic characteristics of the derivatives. According to needs, polyacrylamide can be processed from nonionic to anionic, cationic and amphoteric mixed ions to form four types of products.
According to the user's performance requirements and uses, suitable products with different molecular weights are recommended.

Storage, transportation and precautions:
Polyacrylamide itself is not toxic. Only when the inhalation amount is greater than five thousandths is it harmful because the absorption of nutrients by the gastrointestinal mucosa is blocked. The residual acrylamide monomer in polyacrylamide is toxic, and food application should be strictly controlled. Store and transport should pay attention to moisture.

Acrylamide appears as white crystalline solid shipped either as a solid or in solution. A confirmed carcinogen. Toxic by skin absorption. Less dense than water and soluble in water. May be toxic by ingestion. Used for sewage and waste treatment, to make dyes, adhesives. The solid is stable at room temperature, but upon melting may violently polymerize. Toxic, irritating to skin, eyes, etc.
