Introduction:

This type of alginate, a polysaccharide carbohydrate extracted from brown algae (Phaeophyceae) such as seaweed, features its fine particle size and low salt content. It will be used as an ingredient for the flux of high-end welding electrodes.

Features:

1. Reasonable particle size range distribution ensures the smoothness of the flux surface；

2. Low Sulphur, Phosphorus and Chlorine content makes the weld not easily corroded;

3. High purity reduces chances of deformation or fracture of the flux and increases the welding electrode’s shelf life;

4. Low ash reduces splashing and stabilizes the electric arc in the welding process.
