    Chemical properties: white or light yellow fibrous powder, odorless and tasteless. It is easy to disperse in water and become a transparent colloid. It is insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, acetone and ether. Hygroscopicity, pH value of 1% aqueous solution is 6.5 ~ 8.0. For thermal instability, the viscosity decreases with the increase of temperature, browning temperature 226 ~ 228 ℃, carbonization temperature 252 ~ 253 ℃. Properties: the properties of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose are as follows: 1. Moisture absorption characteristics. The degree of moisture absorption is related to atmospheric temperature and relative humidity. When it reaches equilibrium, it will no longer absorb moisture. 2. CMC aqueous solution has excellent properties such as bonding, thickening, emulsification, suspension, film-forming, colloidal protection, water retention, anti enzymatic hydrolysis and metabolic inertia. 3. When CMC aqueous solution meets with tin, silver, aluminum, lead, iron, copper and some heavy metals, precipitation reaction will occur; When CMC aqueous solution coexists with calcium, magnesium and table salt, there will be no precipitation, but it will reduce the viscosity of CMC aqueous solution. When CMC aqueous solution encounters acid, acid CMC precipitation will be precipitated. However, acid resistant CMC has certain resistance to acid solution. 4. Solubility: CMC aqueous solution and water-soluble animal glue, glycerol glycol and sorbitol Uses 1. Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose can be used as thickener, stabilizer and emulsifier. Used as mud stabilizer for oil and gas drilling, textile slurry, papermaking reinforcing agent, adhesive, etc Usage 7. Polyanionic cellulose (PAC) is a water-soluble cellulose ether derivative prepared by chemical modification of natural cellulose. It is an important water-soluble cellulose ether. Its sodium salt is usually used. Polyanionic cellulose has good heat stability, salt resistance and strong antibacterial property. The mud fluid prepared by this product has good water loss reduction, inhibition and high temperature resistance.
