Product Description Chlorhexidine Diacetate is a white or almost white crystalline powder. No smell, bitter taste. Dissolved in ethanol, slightly dissolved in water.
Chlorhexidine Diacetate has a strong broad-spectrum bacteriostatic and bactericidal effect with low toxicity. The main mechanism of Chlorhexidine Diacetate is the destruction of the plasma membrane of the cell wall of pathogenic microorganisms, and the rapid killing of gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria, bacterial germ cells, fungi and viruses, etc.
Application
1. External use of efficient and safe antibacterial disinfectant can kill staphylococcus aureus, escherichia coli and candida albicans
2. Cationic broad-spectrum antibacterial drug, belonging to the biguanide family. It works by disrupting bacterial cell membranes. It's also a disinfectant. It has strong bactericidal effect on gram-positive bacteria, negative bacteria and fungi, and also effective on pseudomonas aeruginosa. It is used for disinfecting skin, rinsing wound and disinfecting surgical instrument.
