Description

Tylosin tartrate is effective against gram-positive bacteria and some negative bacteria, but its effect is weak, and it has a strong effect on mycoplasma. It is one of the macrolide drugs that have a strong effect on mycoplasma.

Tylosin tartrate is clinically mainly used to prevent and treat Mycoplasma infections in chickens, turkeys and other animals. It has only preventive effects on Mycoplasma in pigs but has no therapeutic effect.

In addition, tylosin tartrate is also used for pneumonia, mastitis, metritis and enteritis caused by infections of Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Vibrio coli and spirochetes, but it is against Escherichia coli, Pasteurella, etc. Infection has no obvious effect.

Tylosin tartrate can also be used to prevent coccidia infection in poultry and soak breeding eggs to prevent the spread of Mycoplasma turkey.
