Description

Curcumin is a natural compound with good anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties. Curcumin is a diketone compound extracted from the rhizomes of some plants in Zingiberaceae and Araceae. The chemical formula is c21h20o6. Among them, turmeric contains about 3% ~ 6% curcumin, which is a rare pigment with diketone structure in the plant world. Curcumin is an orange yellow crystalline powder with a slightly bitter taste and insoluble in water. It is mainly used for coloring intestinal products, cans, sauce and brine products in food production. Curcumin has the functions of reducing blood lipid, anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, cholagogic and antioxidant.

Application

1. Effect of feed turmeric powder on broiler production performance: adding 2% curcumin powder to broiler diet can improve broiler body weight and daily gain and reduce feed weight ratio. Adding 2% turmeric powder to broiler diet can improve broiler live weight, reduce feed weight ratio and improve meat quality. Curcumin can promote the growth performance of broilers.
2. Effect on immune function of broilers: adding 2.5% turmeric powder to broiler diet can significantly improve the new physical immune function.
3. Effect on chicken quality: adding an appropriate amount of curcumin in the broiler diet can improve the whole net bore weight, slaughter rate, chest and leg muscle weight gain of broilers, and adding an appropriate amount of curcumin can significantly reduce the deposition of abdominal fat and liver fat, improve the color of meat, improve the water system and water content of fresh meat after slaughter, and do not reduce the meat flavor.
4. Application of turmeric powder in layer feeding: adding 1.5% turmeric powder to layer feed can improve egg laying rate and reduce cholesterol content. The egg yolk is bright and the egg white is thick.
