Nickel hydroxide (Ni (OH) 2) is a water-insoluble hydroxide, is a green precipitation, often used in battery electrodes. The battery is used to oxidize it to nickel hydroxide. The nickel hydroxide was precipitated by strengthening the alkali in the solution of six hydrated nickel ions. Its mineral is very rare. It is called the nickel hydroxide. It can be used to produce nickel salt, alkaline storage battery and nickel plating. Preparation of nickel salt raw materials, alkaline batteries, electroplating, catalysts.

Store in cool, ventilated storeroom. Keep away from fire and heat sources. Prevent direct sunlight. Packing seal. It should be stored separately from oxidants and acids.
