      Purpose

This product is ethylene, styrene, vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride, acrylate, methacrylate and polymerization initiator.

      1. Polymerization of vinyl chloride:

It is widely used in aqueous suspension polymerization and bulk polymerization. The polymerization temperature range is 60-75 ℃. In many cases, LPO and others are used in combination, such as peroxydicarbonate (bis-4-tert-butylcyclohexane peroxydicarbonate), or peroxyester (peroxyneodecanoic acid - 1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl), which can increase its reaction activity.

      2. Ethylene polymerization:

It is used for polymerization initiation of high pressure polyethylene. Because of its poor solubility, it is replaced by isononyl peroxide in many cases. However, the biggest advantage of LPO is that it can be stored at room temperature.

      3. Polymerization of acrylate and methacrylate:

It can also be used for the polymerization of acrylate at a temperature of 60-90 ℃, and is often used to replace the highly toxic azodiisobutyronitrile.

      4. Polymerization initiator of ABS resin:

At the same time, it is also an important initiator for ABS polymerization. It is used in combination with 1,1-di-tert-butylperoxide-3,5-trimethylcyclohexane, which has a good initiating effect.

Note: It can also be prepared into 40% aqueous suspension solution (LQ-LPO-40W) and 25% aqueous suspension solution. These formulations are mainly used in water phase reaction occasions such as vinyl chloride, with the advantages of convenient operation and safety.

      Storage and Transportation

The standard packaging is a cardboard drum with a net weight of 25kg, or four plastic bags with a net weight of 20kg are packed in a corrugated box. It can also be packaged according to the specifications required by users. It is a solid organic peroxide of Class D, cargo classification: 5.2, UN No.: 3106, packaging of Class II dangerous goods

LAUROYL PEROXIDE is an oxidizing agent. Can ignite organic materials; hence a dangerous fire and explosion risk [Hawley]. Strongly reduced material such as sulfides, nitrides, and hydrides may react explosively. Vigorous reactions with other reducing agents. With charcoal sometimes ignites. [Bretherick, 5th ed., 1995, p. 1194].

    Autoignition Temperature:

    112 °C
