Cerium(III) Fluoride (CeF3) owns superior physical and chemical stability under normal atmospheric conditions. It is insoluble in water and most conventional solvents, and slightly soluble in strong acids. The material has a refractive index of approximately 1.63 at 550nm wavelength, with a wide transparent range covering 0.3–13μm, which perfectly meets the requirements of infrared and ultraviolet optical component manufacturing. With a density of 6.16 g/cm³ and high thermal stability, it will not decompose or deteriorate at conventional high temperatures, maintaining stable performance in high-temperature working environments.
