Cycloastragenol is an aglycone of astragaloside IV. When astragalosides enters the

human body, it produces cycloastragenol under the action of intestinal flora.

Cycloastragenol is the key component of astragaloside's pharmacological effects.

Cycloastragenol is the only telomerase activator reported among natural products,

which has pharmacological effects such as anti-aging, anti-apoptosis, anti-fibrosis,

immune regulation, promoting cell proliferation and wound healing.
