Physical and chemical properties Thiabendazole is a benzimidazole fungicide, the mechanism of action is to inhibit the formation of tubulin during mitosis of fungi. Synthesis of thiabendazole The mixture of 4-ethoxyformylthiazole, o-phenylenediamine, and polyphosphoric acid is stirred and heated to 125°C, and then heated at 175°C for 2h, the mixture is injected into ice water, and neutralized with sodium hydroxide solution To the pH value of 6, crystallization is precipitated, filtered, and extracted with a hot acetone, the extract is decolorized with activated carbon, concentrated, vacuum dried, and. At 240 ℃, 4-thiazole carboxyamyl amide (or acyl bromide) and o-phenylenediamine are reacted in condensed phosphoric acid for 3 hours. The reactant is poured into ice water. After filtration, the filtrate is washed with 30% sodium hydroxide solution until Ph = 6. Benzimidazole is crystallized out, filtered, washed with water, dried to obtain crude product, and then recrystallized with ethanol to obtain finished product. Thiabendazole, commonly known as Tekedor, Thiabendazole, thiabendazole, thiabendazole, thiabendazole, has the ability of internal absorption to the top conduction, but cannot conduct to the base. It has a long duration and is cross-resistant to benzimidazole fungicides. It has inhibitory activity on ascomycetes, basidiomycetes and semi-knowledge bacteria, and is used to prevent and control various crop fungal diseases and preserve the preservation of fruits and vegetables. It is an efficient, broad-spectrum and internationally universal fungicide. It is used to process 42% thiabendazole suspending agent, 60% thiabendazole wettable powder, 3% thiabendazole smoke agent, fruit preservation paper, etc. Prevent and control various diseases caused by fungi in crops and cash crops. Industrial anti-mold agent can be used for feed anti-mold and paint anti-mold, as anti-mold and anti-corrosion for textiles, paper, leather, wires and cables and daily commercial products. Insecticide for human and animal intestines.
