Physical and chemical properties	Thiabendazole is a benzimidazole fungicide, the mechanism of action is to inhibit the formation of tubulin during mitosis of fungi. After filtration, the filtrate is washed with 30% sodium hydroxide solution until Ph = 6. Benzimidazole is crystallized out, filtered, washed with water, dried to obtain crude product, and then recrystallized with ethanol to obtain finished product.
