Butylated Hydroxytoluene (BHT T501)

Antigen agent 264 is an excellent universal phenolic antioxidant, non-toxic, non-flammable, non-corrosive, good storage stability, can inhibit or delay the oxidative degradation of plastic or rubber and prolong the service life.

The appearance is white or light yellow crystalline powder, soluble in benzene, toluene, methanol, ethanol, acetone, carbon tetracloride, acetic acid, oil, ethyl ester and gasoline and other solvents, insoluble in water and dilute caustic soda solution.

Is an excellent antioxidant additive of all kinds of petroleum products, widely used in all kinds of lubricating oil, gasoline, paraffin and all kinds of raw oil, to prevent the acid value or viscosity of lubricating oil, burning Chemicalbook material oil rise.

In food grade plastics and packaged food as a food antioxidant, stabilizer can delay the rancidity of food.

Can also be used in polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS), PP (polypropylene), polyvinyl chloride, ABS resin, polyester, cellulose resin and foam (especially white or light color products), food grade plastics, natural rubber, synthetic rubber (butadiene, nitrile, polyurethane, butadiene rubber, etc.), animal and plant oils and containing food, cosmetics and other products.
