What is Tiamulin Fumarate?

Tiamulin hydrogen fumarate is a derivative of pleuromutilin, can be used in veterinary medicine particularly for pigs and poultry.It is a diterpene antimicrobial with a pleuromutilin chemical structure similar to that of valnemulin.
Tiamulin hydrogen fumarate is white or almost white crystalline powder, odorless and tasteless. It is easily soluble in methanol or ethanol, soluble in water, slightly soluble in acetone, and almost insoluble in hexane . 
This product is a bacteriostatic antibiotic, but it also has bactericidal effect on sensitive bacteria at very high concentration. The antibacterial mechanism of action is to inhibit bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50s subunit of the bacterial ribosome.

USE:

02.As a feed drug additive for pigs, it can promote weight gain.

03.It is also effective for chronic respiratory disease of chicken, mycoplasma pneumonia of pig and staphylococcus synovitis of chicken.
