Description： Fluxametamide is a novel isoxazoline insecticide, belonging to the isoxazoline class of compounds, which acts through a unique antagonism of insect ligand-gated chloride channels.
Fluxametamide is a new broad-spectrum insecticide belonging to the isoxazoline class of compounds that acts through unique antagonism of insect ligand-gated chloride channels.
It is an isoxazole insecticide developed by Nissan Chemical Co., Ltd. in 2007, with a novel mechanism of action γ- GABA gated chloride ion channel allosteric modulator, a neurotoxic agent. Allosteric inhibition of GABA activated chloride ion channels can cause overexcitement and seizures. GABA is the main inhibitory neurotransmitter in insect neural excitatory conduction. It has no cross resistance with conventional insecticides and is mainly used in vegetables, fruit trees, cotton, tea trees and other crops to control pests and mites such as thrips, whiteflies, leafminer flies, beetles, red spider mites, rust mites, etc.
