Cyromazine is a triazine insect growth regulator used as an Insecticide and an acaricide. It is a cyclopropyl derivative of melamine. Cyromazine works by affecting the nervous system of the immature larval stages of certain insects.In Veterinary medicine, cyromazine is used as an Antiparasitic Drugs. Cyromazine also can be used as the Larvicide.

Function of Cyromazine CAS 66215-27-8 Powder

Insect growth regulator with contact action, which interferes with moulting and pupation. When used on plants, action is systemic: applied to the leaves, it exhibits a strong translaminar effect; applied to the soil, it is taken up by the roots and translocated acropetally.

Control of Dipteran larvae in chicken manure by feeding to the poultry or treating the breeding sites. Also used to control flies on animals. Used as a foliar spray to control leaf miners (Liriomyza spp.) in vegetables (e.g. celery, tomatoes, lettuce), melons, potatoes and ornamentals, at 75-225 g/ha; also used, at 190-450 g/ha, in drench or drip irrigation. Used to control mushroom flies (sciarid flies, phorids) in mushrooms.
It is suitable for a variety of fruits and vegetables, and has a good insecticidal effect on "fly" pests. At present, in the production of fruits and vegetables, it is mainly used for the prevention and control of: American leafminer, South American leafminer, bean pole leafminer, and onion leafminer in various fruits, solanaceous fruits, beans and various leafy vegetables. Various leafminers such as leafminer and leafminer, root maggots of leeks, onions and garlic , etc.
