Cabazitaxel is a microtubule inhibitor that is suitable for use in combination with Prednisone or Prednisolone to treat hormone refractory metastatic prostate cancer patients who have previously been treated with Docetaxel containing regimens. It achieves more precise treatment throughout the entire treatment process. It works by disrupting the microtubule network that is crucial for mitosis and interphase cell function, causing inhibition of cell division and cell death. It has been shown that Jevtana inhibits cell division and tumor cell proliferation by binding and stabilizing microtubule proteins, which are proteins in the microtubules of cells that provide the skeleton to maintain cell shape.
Kabatasis is a white or off white powder. Kabatasis is almost insoluble in water, while Kabatasis is soluble in ethanol.
