What is Fipronil ?

Fipronil is a broad-spectrum insecticide that belongs to the phenylpyrazolechemical family. Fipronil disrupts the insect central nervous system byblocking GABA-gated chloride channels and glutamate-gated chloridechannels. This causes hyperexcitation of contaminated insects' nerves andmuscles. Fipronil's specificity towards insects is believed to be due to itsgreater affinity to the GABA receptor in insects relative to mammals and itseffect on GluCl channels, which do not exist in mammals.

Use 1. Wide spectrum insecticides containing flurpyrazole have high activity and wide application range. They are highly sensitive to resistant pests such as hemiptera, tasmanian ptera, Coleoptera, lepidoptera, pyrethroids and carbamate insecticides.Can be used for rice, cotton, vegetables, soybean, rapeseed, tobacco, potato, tea, sorghum, corn, fruit trees, forest, public health, animal husbandry, such as the prevention and control of rice borer, BPH, rice, cotton bollworm, NianChong, cabbage moth, plutella xylostella, beetles, cutworm, bulb nematodes, fruit trees mosquito, wheat aphid long tube, ball, trichomonas, etc.Recommended dosage is 12.5 ~ 150g/hm2.Field efficacy tests on rice and vegetables have been approved in China.The preparation consists of 5% glue suspension and 0.3% granules.
