Characteristic:
EDTMPA is white crystal powder at room temperature, with melting point 215-217ºC, hard to be dissolved in water, the solubility is less that 5% at room temperature, easy dissolved in ammonia. EDTMPA has strong metal ion chelating capacity, whose chelating constant with cuprum ion is larger than that of EDTA.

EDTMPS is used as corrosion and scale inhibitor in circulating water and boiler water, complexing agent in electroplating, chelating agent and oxygen bleaching stabilizer in textile printing and dyeing industry.

Used in organic synthesis and pharmaceutical industry, dye intermediates, etc.

It is used as a scale inhibitor for steam boilers, a scale inhibitor for circulating cooling water, a stabilizer for peroxides, a metal ion chelating agent for electroplating industry, etc
