Nature

Preparation
The preparation of ethanolamine by ethylene oxide amination process can be divided into two continuous and intermittent methods, and three products can be obtained at the same time: monoethanolamine, diethanolamine and triethanolamine. The output of the three products is usually adjusted by changing the ratio of the amount of ammonia to the amount of ethylene oxide. Use
Monoethanolamine is an important corrosion inhibitor in boiler water treatment, automotive engine coolant, drilling and cutting oils, and various other lubricants. However, monoethanolamine should not be used in combination with nitrite corrosion inhibitors to prevent the formation of nitrosamine carcinogens.
