Nature:

Purpose:
- Sodium dodecyl ether sulfate sulfonic acid is widely used in detergent, shampoo, bath and other daily chemical products, providing good cleaning and emulsifying ability.
- In the industrial field, it can be used as emulsifier and dispersant in the production of coatings, paints, inks, etc.

Preparation:
The preparation of sodium dodecyl ether sulfate sulfonic acid is mainly divided into two steps:
1. Dodecyl alcohol is reacted with ethoxylating agent such as ethoxyethanol to obtain dodecyl polyoxyether.
2. The resulting dodecyl polyoxyethylene ether is reacted with sulfur trioxide and sodium hydroxide to obtain the final product - dodecyl ether sulfate sodium sulfonic acid.

Application: Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate (SLES 70%) is excellent foaming, detergency profiles, biodegradabel sufactant and has well anti-hard water efficicency,mild to skin. SLES is wildely applied in hair shampoo, bath shampoo, dish detergents,complex soap, SLES is also used in wetting, clearer in textile industry.

Widely used in liquid detergent such as dishwashing detergent, shampoo, bubble bath liquid, hand washing etc.
In washing powder and detergent for heavy dirty, using it to partially replace LABSA, phosphate (STPP) can be saved or reduced, and general dosage of active matter is reduced.
