    1. Description :

    2. Ammonium hydrogen fluoride is an inorganic compound, the chemical formula is NH4HF2, white or colorless transparent rhombic crystal system crystallization, the product is flake, slightly sour taste, corrosive, easy deliquination, soluble in water as weak acid, easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, heat or decomposition in hot water.

    nature
Colorless orthorhombic or lamellar crystals, slightly sour. Melting point 124.6℃; The relative density is 1.5. It deliquesces easily in air. Soluble in water, aqueous solution is acidic reaction. Slightly soluble in ethanol. It decomposes when exposed to heat or hot water. Corrosive to glass. Non-combustible, irritating. Decomposition by heat releases toxic nitrogen oxides and fluoride fumes. It can sublimate at higher temperatures.

    preparation
Put 40% hydrofluoric acid in a platinum dish or teflon container. Pass ammonia until the solution starts to turn brown on the Congo red paper. By freezing, that is, crystallizing. After the mother liquor is removed, pure ammonium hydrogen fluoride is obtained.

    use
Reagent for chemical analysis. Used for glass etching agent in frosted glass production, disinfection and preservative in fermentation industry and surface treatment agent for silicon steel plate. It is also used in the manufacture of ceramics, magnesium alloys, cleaning and descaling of boiler feedwater systems and steam generation systems, and acidizing treatment of oil field sand plants.

    security
Toxic! It's corrosive. The solution eats glass. It is irritating to the skin and mucous membrane, and the staff should be well protected. It is strictly prohibited to mix with acids and edible chemicals. Foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder, sand.
