Application

1. 1. Widely used as a solvent in coating, resin, dye, ink and other industries; Used as a synthetic monomer or solvent in pharmaceutical, explosive, pesticide and other industries; It can also be used as a component of high-octane gasoline and is an important raw material for organic chemicals. It can also be used to remove asphalt from the car body. The hospital pathology department is mainly used for transparent dewaxing of tissue sections.
    
    Using industrial o-xylene as raw material, the acid layer is first washed with industrial concentrated sulfuric acid until colorless, and then washed with 10% sodium hydroxide solution and water until qualified. The water layer is separated, dried with anhydrous calcium chloride, and then rectified. After the distillate is clarified, the middle fraction, the pure product, is collected.
