Dosage and Administration
(1) Prevention of complications after pancreatic surgery: 0.1 mg octreotide is injected subcutaneously 1 hour before surgery; 0.1 mg is injected subcutaneously thereafter, 3 times a day for 7 consecutive days.
(2) Treatment of esophageal varicose bleeding caused by portal hypertension: 0.1 mg is injected intravenously, and then 0.5 mg is dripped intravenously once every 2 hours.
